Kremlin says no need to help companies because of pandemic

MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The Kremlin sees no need to support companies because of the COVID-19 pandemic as the economy is working, spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.

"There is no situation related to a halt of the economy. The economy is working… All economic operators… companies are operating. This is why until they are working, there is no need now," Peskov said.

The official also said that a possible decision to reset the lockdown will be primarily meant to safeguard for the life and health of people.
